Site Director Job Profile and Description

The Site Director is in charge of the overall procedures on the site. He/she has to manage the staff and also has to ensure that everyone gets involved which can include campers, staff and people on the site. He/she has to ensure the safety of all the people around him.

Site Director Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides a healthy environment by Supervising the staff and volunteers
  • Providing information on workshops and trainings for promoting staffs professional growth
  • Conducting group meeting with the staff regularly
  • Making an appropriate development curriculum
  • The person understands and becomes familiar with licensing regulations and also ensures that the program set down by the authority meets all the demands as set down by the State and does not confront with any of them
  • Maintains the site in accordance with all the standards including environmental standards
  • Maintains accurate records of attendance and required timings
  • Discusses issues and concerns that might have arisen on the sites

  • The person must possess excellent social skills
  • He/she should have Strong judgmental and decision-making skills
  • He should have the courage to delegate others
  • He/she should have ability to lead groups which may be large or small
  • Ability to interact with age groups in a friendly manner
